I first visited The Big Bend Country in 2015, the summer after my father died. I was inspired to come out here after seeing a photo from the early 80's of my parents on some land along Big Bend National Park. Our first visit was in the summer under new moon light. It was my first time seeing our Milky Way in full expression. The Big Bend Country is home to some of the darkest night skies on our planet. The nights under the cosmos are my star therapy. I have become addicted to life out here. We have created our first home together here.
